From the Resorts World Casino in Queens, NY as part of Evander Holyfield’s Real Deal Promotions show, New York native Alicia Napoleon (8-1, 5 KOs) shook off the ring rust and shut out Nikolett Rapp (4-2, 2 KOs) of Hungary on Saturday.

Napoleon struggled finding her range to the start the bout. As Rapp tired into the third Round, Napoleon took over and cruised to the Unanimous Decision win.

Alicia Napoleon finally get that win to get herself back on track, following the UBF Championship loss to Tori Nelson back in December. She had an shot lined up for the vacant IBF Junior Middleweight World Championship with veteran Mary McGee (23-3, 12 KOs), of Gary, IN in what was supposed to be the first women’s world title fight in the history of Nassau Coliseum on July 15th. But the bout fell off due to McGee’s medicals not being cleared.

Napoleon is looking for the title shot coming soon on a DiBella Entertainment show at the Barclays Center or Nassau Coliseum.
