Super Welterweight Alicia Napoleon (5-0, 2 KOs) claims the vacant WBC Silver Title by Unanimous Decision over Szilvia Szabados (10-5, 3 KOs) on Friday evening on Uprising Promotions show at the 5 Star Banquet Hall New York.
Napoleon’s power and strength was unmatched by the visiting Hungarian Szabados as she went right to work from the opening bell. With stiff jab, her progressing combinations and powerful hooks as the bout wore on, Napoleon overloaded Szabados and her mighty jaw. But the visiting opponent stood steady with the onslaught and took the match the full 10 rounds.
With a full house, Napoleon had her hand raised and WBC strap bestowed upon her with the judges overwhelming scores.
