As part of the Marco Huck/Mairis Briedis showdown on Huck Sport Promotions show on April 1st in Dortmond, Germany, WBC and WBO Middleweight Champion Christina Hammer (20-0, 9 KOs) is set to thrill her hometown fans by defending her titles against a familiar foe.

39 years old Maria Lindberg (15-1-2, 8 KOs) of Sweden is going to take another crack at Hammer after her unsuccessful 2011 attempt at taking Hammers WBO and WBF titles. That match ended in a Unanimous Decision.

Lindberg makes the journey into Dortmund after a three bout winning campaign in 2016 where she disposes of Selma Music and Timea Belik by KO and TKO after nearly shutting out Melinda Lazar in a 6-Round Decision win.

Hammer is rejunivated with her return to full active duty in 2016 where she stopped Melinda Lazar in the 6th Round of their July matchup before handling business with a Unanimous Decision rematch victory over Kali Reis to unify her WBO title with the coveted WBC championship.

Look for another explosive exhibition in Germany on April 1st.
