CHRISTY`S DEBUT BOXING PROMOTION IS HELPING TO SCHOOL KIDS
Legendary pioneer woman boxing champion Christy Salters (Martin) who`s turning her considerable energy, skills and experience to boxing promotion, is helping school children in need, throughout the North Carolina region.
Christy who determinedly and audaciously put women`s boxing on the map, already has a BS in Education from Concord College in Athens, West Virginia. But she went back to “School” to learn all she could about boxing promotion. Top marks and class leader, with the creation and establishment of Pink Promotions, which together with Pretty Girl Promotions is organizing a superb night of boxing on October 19th at the Grady Cole Center, in Charlotte, North Caroline. The event is highlighted by a cracking contest for the vacant North American female bantamweight Championship between Rosalinda Rodriguez Vs Noemi Bosques.
The WBC which admires the fighting skills, tenacity and caring nature of Christy, has provided a generous donation, enabling Christy to help children in this area with school supplies. WBC CARES provided the funds. And typically meticulous, Christy went to schools to studiously discover for herself what they most needed. She`s also going to place giant deep containers at her Promotion, so fight fans can dig deep, filling the bins with money and school supplies which will also go directly towards helping kids work towards a bright future.
Pink Promotion and Pretty Girl Promotions are very proud of our association with WBC CARES and look forward to future endeavors.
