USA Boxing’s Two-Time Women’s Olympic Gold Medalist Claressa Shields, of Flint, Michigan, will leave the amateur ranks to pursue the professional boxing cash, prestige, and gold.

Shields will make her anticipated professional debut on the undercard of the Light Heavyweight Championship showdown of Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward on Saturday, November 19th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This #WomenofBoxing bout will be broadcast live on the Showtime free coverage starting at 7 pm ET.

As a young 17 year-old, Shields took the Middleweight Gold Medal in the London 2012 Olympics, the first women to win Olympic Gold in Boxing. This summer, she added her second Gold Medal in Rio de Janeiro. Additional amateur honors include World Champions in 2014 and 2016, along with 2015 Pan-Am Games Gold.

Shields finishes her amateur career with a 77-1 record with 18 KOs. Now on the professional ranks with all praise and glory ahead of her.
