Claressa Shields wins “Biggest Powerhouse” at Nickelodeons Kids’ Choice Awards

DETROIT – Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Claressa Shields beats out Demarcus Cousins (New Orleans Pelicans), Von Miller (Denver Broncos), David Ortiz (Boston Red Sox) and Mike Trout (Los Angeles Angels) as the “Biggest Powerhouse” at 2017’s Nickelodeons Kids’ Choice Awards this last week.

Shields expressed joy in her acceptance speech saying “Oh wow, the biggest powerhouse hunh? whoa. I guest I am the heaviest hitter out of the category. The biggest puncher. I want to thank you guys for voting for me and thank Nickelodeon just for the nomination. Winning always feel great so Im privilege and thank you thank you I couldn’t ask for another award, thank you.”

Winners are determined by voter preference as well as other considerations. “I am thankful for everyone for voting for me” said Claressa Shields. ” I am truly honored and humble” she continued.
