It was announced that Pound for Pound #1 Cecilia Brækhus (30-0, 9 KOs) is already preparing for her next test by declaring that she will be promoting her next championship bout on June 9th in her hometown of Bergen, Norway against WBC Super Lightweight champion Erica Farias (24-1, 10 KOs) of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Brækhus just dominated Klara Svensson in a one-sided Unanimous Decision win on Friday in her latest destruction of any opponent that steps inside the ring with her.

The “First Lady” obviously ducks no one and accepts any challenge.

Now, can anyone really pose a threat to her major weight of leather and gold?

Farias is moving up in weight to try and break Brækhus’ undefeated record along with her control over the division and world.

The challenger has faced similar opposition with equal success, like dealing Svensson her first defeat of her career in a decision victory in 2015.

2016 continued “La Pantera” winning ways with two clear decision edges over Victoria Bustos and Marisa Nunez.

Her only setback was in 2014 at the hands of #1 Lightweight in the World, Delfine Persoon.

Battle of Bergen is a guaranteed battle with World #1 Welterweight vs. #1 Super Lightweight in the same right with 5 pieced of hardware on the line.
