Former World Amateur Champion and 2012 Russian Olympian Elena Savelyeva (4-0, 3 KOs) took her first 10 Round matchup like riding a bike.

On Saturday at Qin Shi Huang Restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Savelyeva went the distance and clearly dominated former world title challenger Nevenka Mikulic (7-11-1, 5 KOs) of Croatia in her first real test of her young professional career.

Official Scores: 100-90, 100-90, 100-90

The 38 year old Mikulic was a good challenge for Savelyeva, having veteran experience and a busy 2017 with facing off against WBC challenger Nina Radovanovic and prospects Ashley brace and Dina Thorslund.

Savelyeva has made rapid progress in just the eight months of professional boxing, scoring three stoppages in 6+ round matchups since jumping from the amateur ranks and now undoubtedly man-handling world title quality opposition over 10 rounds.
