At Belleheide Center, Pamel-Roosdaal, Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium on Friday, Sweden’s Elin Cederroos (6-0, 3 KOs) beat the odds and outdueled Femke Hermans (9-3, 3 KOs) for the vacant IBF Super Middleweight Championship.

Cederroos entered the championship match having only 5 previous fights and against lower level competition, in Hermans’ backyard with little to no chance to take the light blue and gold belt.

The former footballer dealt a proverbial kick to the teeth on Hermans, who was expecting to regain her winning form and become champion again.

Official Scores: 95-95, 96-94, 96-94
