KEEPING TRACK: CLARESSA SHIELDS VS TORI NELSON

Undefeated World Boxing Council super-middleweight champion Claressa “T-Rex” Shields (4-0, 2 KOs) will defend her title against unbeaten Tori Nelson (17-0-3, 2 KOs) on Friday, January 12 as the main event broadcast by ShoBox: The New Generation, from the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York.

Shields comes to win, following her fourth professional fight for the WBC super middleweight belt, defeating German Nikki Adler via fifth round KO. Tori arrives, after stopping Latashia Burton in two rounds, at the Silver Eagle Gun Arena, Ashburn.

Both female warriors, showing their great commitment and professionalism, sent the WBC offices all their weigh ins, as well as all the medical examinations required by the WBC, in order to protect fighters safety, and with it their future well being.
