Former WIBA Lightweight Champion turned professional trainer Rita Figueroa is a true warrior, a top level teacher, a inquisitive sports lover, and sometimes an honestly brutal realist.
After her 5 year boxing career ended with a brain injury, the love of the sport never faded. She knew she still had the passion and could participate at a different level.
Team La Guera spans amateurs and professional ranks, with Figueroa sharing her vast knowledge of the sport for the development of the game.
