Ibeth Zamora (25-5, 10 KOs) continues to show that she is unstoppable with her sixth successful defense of her WBC Light Flyweight title, earning a 6th Round TKO win over Mari Ando (12-9, 5 KOs) of Japan at the Centro de Espectáculos del Recinto Ferial, Metepec, México, Mexico on Saturday.

The champ dominated her foe from the start, stand calm and collected, jabbing away to setup effective combos to the head and body.

The challenging Ando could not get inside to do much damage, only collecting clean shots on left jabs and a seldom hooks and straight rights. She was never able to jostle the champ.

With superior stamina, Zamora kept up the attack – wearing out the challenger.

At 0:52 of the 6th Round, the referee saw enough as Ando was eating leather from Zamora’s persistent pressure. The final round was a constant barrage of alternating lefts and rights into the bout was waved off.
