Jennifer Han (16-3-1, 1 KO) successfully defender her IBF Featherweight Championship for the third time Friday night by breezing through Olivia Gerula (18-16-2, 3 KOs) by Unanimous Decision.

The championship bout was hosted at the Don Haskins Center in Han’s hometown of El Paso, TX and presented by Top Rank.

The champion, who was only able to retain of relinquish her belt to vacancy, due to the visiting challenger being 1.5 pounds overweight, came to showcase her fitness, agility, and overall boxing skills.

Gerula never presented much of a challenge to Han, as the champ defensive skills helped her avoid contact and remove any real risks posed against her.

Han simply controlled the fight and action for the full 10 rounds of action, while inflicting the only knockdown in the match – a combination that put Gerula on the canvas in her own corner.

After 10 rounds, the judges were unanimous in scoring the match a shutout for the current IBF Champion Han. Official scores: 100-89, 100-89, 100-89.
