Over 5,000 fans were reported at the gate of Southwest University Park/El Paso Chihuahua’s Baseball Stadium on Friday for Jennifer Han’s (14-3-1, 1 KO) IBF defense bout against Calixta Silgado (14-6-3, 9 KOs) of Colombia.

Those 5,000 fans were in full support of El Paso’s favorite boxer and resident – Han, while no one left the venue disappointed except for the late fill-in opponent.

Han dominated the 10-Round championship battle behind her strong jab. Her movement, fitness, and all-around skills gave her the complete edge in sweeping the judges scorecards.

Han retains her IBF Featherweight Championship by scores: 100-90, 100-90, 100-90.

#WomenofBoxing Associate and event Ring Announcer Tom Treiber, cited after witnessing her performance, “She is a solid fighter all around.

What;s next for Han? According to her and Golden Eagles Promotions, they should be “right back here (in El Paso)”.

But… A challenge has been issued! The WBO Featherweight Champion, Amanda Serrano, is calling for a unification bout.
