Jennifer Han (15-3-1, 1 KO) defends her IBF Featherweight title on Friday, February 17th at a familiar venue – the Don Haskins Center in her hometown of El Paso, TX.
Han steps inside the ropes on the Top Rank promoted card opposite former WBC Featherweight Champion Olivia Gerula (18-16-2, 3 KOs) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Han is looking to make her third successful defense of the IBF title since she won the title at the same venue in September of 2015. Last October, she scored her latest defense victory at the El Paso venue as well, a commanding Unanimous Decision win over Liliana Martinez.
Gerula is no stranger to championship bouts, having faced many of the best in the world and contended for numerous titles. Her latest bout was a close decision win over Nydia Feliciano in October to capture the UBF Inter-Continental Championship.
This IBF Championship bout will be co-featured with the explosive Jose Felix Jr. (35-1-1, 27 KOs) of Mexico and presented on UniMas television.
