In the premier edition of DiBella Entertainment’s New England Broadway Boxing at the Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, CT on Thursday evening, Super Lightweight females stole the show.
UBF World Champion “The Bolivian Queen” Jennifer Salinas (19-3, 5 KOs) of Providence, RI, halted Angel “Non-Stop” Gladney (9-12-1, 6 KOs) of Columbus, SC, who took the bout on late notice.
Salinas showed her range of distance and precision as she delivered cleanly throughout the bout. Her relentless offense concluded the match at the 1:51 mark of the 4th round where her combinations proved to be too much for her opponent to withstand.
Salinas has now beaten Gladney for a third time in her career and with a statement that “Non-Stop” is stoppable.
