The First Lady of TMT shines on Tuesday evening’s PBC on FS1 #ToeToToeTuesdays. Super Welterweight Latondria Jones improves to 2-0 with 1 KO by disposing of Latashia Burton (4-6) by Unanimous Decision.
Jones showed stellar defense with head movement, slipping in punches on the quick counters. Her jabs were unmatched by Burton,
Jones is the first female to be signed with the illustrious and prestigious TMT.
#WomenofBoxing spoke to TMT’s Floyd Mayweather and Leonard Ellerbe in July of 2014 about the female game and they brought the attention to Jones while touted her as “our new champ”. Money justified his proclamation with “Give us less than three years, she will be champion!” [July 15, 2014 interview]
