Today, June 2015 #WomenofBoxing Boxer of the Month #BotM Mayerlin Rivas (12-3-1, 9 KOs) defends her WBA Bantamweight title in front of a home crown in Caracas, Venezuela against Galina Ivanova (16-10-4, 2 KOs) of Bulgaria.
Rivas dominated Sayda Mosquera with an emphatic 4th round TKO on June 27th and captured the fan’s appeal for top performance of the month.
Ivanova was last in action in May with a Unanimous Decision victory over Csilla Nemedi for the Interim WBA Bantamweight title.
