Eye of the Tiger Management believed they had talent and promise in signing Super Flyweight Kim Clavel.

On Saturday at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, Canada, Clavel proved the signing was justified, in her debut with Mexico’s Yoseline Martinez Jose (3-3).

Her speed and precision behind the jab and rapid following rights was dominating. Her quick, short left hooks were consistently finding flesh on the right side of Martinez’ face.

Martinez kept the quality movement, but just could not keep up the clean punches count of Clavel.

The connecting punch counts were wide.

After 4 Rounds of action, the official scores read: 40-36, 40-36, 39-37 giving Clavel her first victory in her hometown debut.

After the match, Clavel stated (translated from French): “I was happy because the girl was good too. Technically, it was not a girl who was crooked. She knew how to box and it gave me a lot of experience. Four rounds that I will remember all my life.”
