Mayweather Promotions’ Middleweight Latondria Jones will be looking for win number 4 on her young career as she steps into the Premier Boxing Champions ring on Friday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL.
Jones (3-0, 2 KOs) gets right back to work after her quick 1st Round TKO win over Kamika Slade just over a month ago. This time, a scheduled 4-round affair with Latoya Burton (0-1) of Greenville, NC.
Burton just made her debut in March, an unsuccessful Unanimous Decision lose.
This #WomenofBoxingonPBC bout is a SpikeTV undercard support bout of Rances Barthelemy defending his IBF title vs. Mickey Bey, Emmanuel Rodriquez vs. Alberto Guevara, undefeated Caleb Plant in action, and more.
In July of 2014, Jones was introduced to #WomenofBoxing by Floyd Mayweather and Leonard Ellerbe while dicussing the female game. “Money” justified his proclamation with “Give us less than three years, she will be champion!” [July 15, 2014 interview] Ellerbe now keeps her fresh.
