As a supplemental attraction to the Top Rank WBO Jr. Lightweight Championship bout betweek Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigondeaux at the Madison Square Garden Theater, #WomenofBoxing Lightweights Mikaela Mayer (2-0, 2 KOs) of Los Angeles and local Nydia Feliciano (9-8-3) will square off for 4 Rounds.
Mayer is proving to be a hot Lightweight prospect after leaving the amateur ranks earlier this year. The 2016 Rio Olympian has pounded her way past Widnelly Figueroa in her pro debut in August before collecting her second win in late September by crushing Allison Martinez.
Feliciano’s record does not detail the career she has had thus far. She has stood toe-to-toe with the best in the game like: Amanda Serrano, Yazmin Rivas, Jennifer Han, Shelly Vincent, Olivia Gerula, Heather Hardy, Tyrieshia Douglas, Noemi Bosques. She is hungry since fighting to a close Split Decision defeat to Olivia Gerula for the UBF Intercontinental Featherweight title in her last bout.
