This Saturday, at the Auditorio Municipal de Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Mexico, Mariana “Barbie” Juarez (41-8-3, 17 KOs) will again face Vanesa Taborda (8-4-1) in a rematch following their controversial match from July.
The rematch is ordered by the World Boxing Council after sketchy scoring was reported during their July 11, 2015 matchup at Centro Internacional Acapulco, in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. The vacant WBC International title that was at stake was ordered to remain vacant following the bout.
On Saturday, both will come prepared to go toe to toe for the vacant prize.
