Nana Yoshikawa Makes Generous Donation Towards Mexico Earthquake Recovery; then WBC Matches Donation

YOSHIKAWA’S FUND DONATED FOR MEXICO’S EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE RECONSTRUCTION

As a gesture of solidarity for Mexico, champion Nana Yoshikawa has presented World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman, twelve thousand pesos towards reconstruction, following severe damage caused by September’s two earthquakes.

After being presented with the envelope, Mauricio announced that the WBC would match this donation. Accordingly a bank deposit of 24 thousand pesos has been made to the “Help the Church in Need. ” It has 22 offices around the world Which support projects in 140 countries, including Mexico, for the reconstruction of damaged churches, chapels and convents.
