On Saturday in Austria, Lightweight Nicole Wesner (14-0, 6 KOs) made a successful return  to the ring, following knee surgery.

As part of Austrian Fight Challenge 6 at Hallmann Dome in Vienna, WBF, WIBF, and GBU Lightweight Champion Wesner outpointed her opponent Lela Terashvili (10-10-1, 4 KOs) of Georgia over 6 Rounds of action.

It took a couple of rounds for Wesner to feel out Terashvili, before Wesner cleared the path to victory. Score: 59-55

Wesner admits that she is not quite at 100%, but this win is a good start towards a glorious 2018.
