Berlin’s Nina Meinke (7-1, 3 KOs) squared off with Italy’s Vissia Trovato (10-1, 4 KOs) in a Featherweight Championship battle on Sauerland’s Saturday’s Boxgala Ludwigsburg in Germany.

Albeit not a glorious championship bout, Meinke is regaining her form since her April loss to now WBA Lightweight Champions Katie Taylor at Wembley Stadium.

Meinke out-worked her Italian opponent for 10 rounds to earn two world championship belts, the interim GBU and vacant WIBF Featherweight titles as well as handing Trovato her first professional loss.
