Serrano hammering away at Gontaruk; Photo from Facebook

There is no wonder why the November #WomenofBoxing #BotM winner is #1 Super Featherweight in the World with the skills displayed every time she steps into the ring. Add the fan recognition efforts put in outside the ring, creating fan popularity, to the mix and Amanda Serrano sets herself atop the list of most marketable athletes that will help the womens game continue the rise in appreciation.

On November 20th, “The Real Deal” Serrano entered DiBella Entertainment’s ring in Brooklyn, NY and overpowered the tough Djemilla Gontaruk (9-3, 1 KO) of Liege, Belgium in a scheduled 8 round bout. The bout was stopped in the 3rd round after Gontaruk succumbed to the punishment at the hands of the champ.

Serrano is no stranger to the fan appreciation honors. She won the #WomenofBoxing #BotM honor in February of 2015 after she demolished Marisol Reyes on February 21st as well as overall #BotM in November 2014, August 2014, and February 2013.

Since her only loss back in 2012 to Frida Wallberg, Serrano is on a path of destruction – dishing out knockouts in 10 of her 12 straight wins since. “The Real Deal” provides the action that the fans want and deserve.

When not in the ring, Serrano along with her Champion sister Cindy are out and about supporting fellow boxers, being ambassadors to the sport and it’s growth, and promoting their Body & Style Magazine. Well Done! Positive personal and sports marketing tactics in full effect!

Keep on bangin’ Amanda, Cindy, and Manager Jordan!

Congrats to the Champ!
