Middleweight Raquel Miller (1-0, 1 KO) of San Francisco, CA will make her second trip to the professional ring on Saturday’s Roc Nation Promoted Andre Ward vs. Alexander Brand HBO Undercard at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA opposite Gabrielle Holloway (0-1) of Rhoadesville, VA.
“Pretty Beast” Miller disposed of Sara Flores by 1st Round TKO in her debut on May 21st after proceeding to the professional ranks after a prestigious amateur career.
“Gabanator” Holloway just debuted on the short end of a Unanimous Decision against Shianne Gist in June.
Show headliner, Andre Ward, spoke on Raquel Miller being included on the Roc Nation card, “They’re (women) doing what we do… They’re training… They’re grinding…” “I am happy for her. I am excited to have her on the card. And I just hope that they (women boxers) get the respect…”
