As part of the Jonathan Ogden Foundation “An Evening Ringside” Benefit boxing card at the Martin’s Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, MD, Ponytail Promotion’s female athletes retained their championships.

In the Main Event, Jennifer Salinas (18-3, 4 KOs) and the challenger Melissa St. Vil (6-2-3) both took their lumps from consistent clashing of heads in a 10-round brawl for Salinas’ Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) Super Featherweight crown. St. Vil came out strong from the start with her crushing rights. But the challenger could not hold off the champion for long as Salinas pounded away with steady lefts to gain the edge on the scorecards. Salinas was awarded the Unanimous Decision win.

Official scores: 96-94, 96-94, 99-91

In the Co-Feature, Tyrieshia Douglas (10-1, 4 KOs) put her Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) Bantamweight title was on the line versus Nydia Feliciano (8-7-3). Feliciano could not keep up with Douglas’ superior offense as the champ cruised to an easy Unanimous Decision victory.

Official scores: 100-90, 98-92, 98-92
