Warriors Boxing Promotions is making history in Illinois when they feature Jessica McCaskill in the Main Event of Saturday’s “Windy City Fight Night” at the UIC Pavilion.

McCaskill (3-1, 2 KOs) returns to the Warriors Boxing ring after thoroughly dominating Brenda Gonzales (4-2, 1 KO) in a shutout Unanimous Decision and riding a 3-bout win streak.

The Main Event is an 8-Round affair for the Vacant American Boxing Organization (ABO) InterContinental Lightweight Championship.

Originally to face Canada’s undefeated “Vicious” Vanessa Bradford (4-0-2), a late change matches “CasKilla” against an extremely tough veteran in Natalie “Sugar” Brown (6-2, 4 KOs) of Canada.

Warriors Boxing President Leon Margules stated, “Jessica McCaskill has earned her place in our promotional stable and deserves to be making history as the first woman to headline a boxing event in Illinois.”

Brown heads into the Windy City with high expectations of the upset as well as continued success in the sport she loves. Not having actually stepped inside the ropes for official contest in almost 5 years, does not make this matchup an easy one for McCaskill.

“I’ve tried for a while to get a fight but kept getting passed over… After getting the run around from many failed opportunities. I saw a post from a fellow female fighter for an 8 round fight opportunity on social media and responded in all caps “NATALIE BROWN”, lol😅” said “Sugar”.

Brown continued, “I know it’s short notice but Boxing isn’t what I “do” it’s what I LIVE… I’m about this life!”

“I’m as prepared as anyone who steps out of there front door to face the world every morning. We never really know how the day will end but we are grateful that we get another day to live. I’m grateful for everything that has taken me to this opportunity therefore I’m prepared. I absolutely LOVE that the ABO supports Female Boxing and has given us a platform to fight for their Championship. It is truly an honor.”
