Friday evening at the Aviator Sports and Events Center in Brooklyn, NY, another opponent falls victim to the power and precision of the #1 Super Featherweight in the world.

Brooklyn’s Amanda Serrano (26-1-1, 19 KOs) over powered the tough Djemilla Gontaruk (9-3, 1 KO) of Liege, Belgium in a scheduled 8 rounder on DiBella Entertainment promoted show.

While the challenger keep trying to stay inside, Serrano eluded and unleaded with combinations and short hooks. Gontaruk took a lot of punishment while continuing to battle through the onslaughts.

Into the 3rd round, Serrano unloaded hook after hook to the depleted Gontaruk. At 1:38 of the 3rd round, the referee saw enough and stopped the bout.

In speaking with Team Serrano about bout and the future:

She was tuff tho. Can’t lie. She took some good shots that I felt in my hands.

I’m fighting in the Barclays Center in January.

We will keep everyone posted on developing details.
