This Friday, September 11, 2015, Joe Deguardia’s Star Boxing will host the first #WomenofBoxing bout ever to be presented at the Paramount.
The Super Featherweight bout will contain the matchup of Ronica Jeffrey (13-1, 1 KO) of Brookyn, NY and Celene Roman (5-2-1) of Ontario, CA in a 6 round match.
Both women are coming off of losses in their last outings, looking for their rebound towards title contentions.
The hometown favorite, Jeffrey, has been out of action since her May 2014 championship decision loss to Carla Torres, while Roman’s loss came only a few months ago to undefeated Karie Contreras by decision.
