WBC Continues to Strengthen Women’s Committee

BRAIN SPECIALIST JOINS WBC WOMEN’S COMMITTEE

World Boxing Council President, Mauricio Sulaiman and all of the WBC, are proud to announce that Dr. Meeryo Choe has joined the Woman’s Committee as Medical Advisor.

Dr. Choe, a well known Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Mattel Hospital, in Santa Monica, Ca., is also a member of the Ronald Regan, UCLA BrainSport Team; a group of dedicated doctors working to redefine the standards athletes work under; hoping and working to prevent and treat concussion. A sports enthusiast herself, Dr. Choe has a focused interest in woman’s sports and well being. She will be working directly with Dr. Paul Wallace, the Chair of the WBC Medical Committee, to ensure the highest standards of sports safety for our boxers.
