Yazmín Rivas Faces Jessica Gonzalez for WBC International Title Saturday

REMATCH NAILBITER- RIVAS VS. GONZALEZ WITH WBC INTERNATIONAL BELT ON THE LINE

Yazmín “La Rusita” Rivas makes a welcome return to the ring on August 27th at the Palenque Vicente Fernandez in the Expo Feria in Gomez Palacio, Durango.

Rivas (34 – 9 – 1; 10 KOs) will face Jessica “Magnífica” Gonzalez (6 – 2 – 1; 1 KO) in the main event, for the World Boxing Council International super bantamweight belt.

This will be a rematch bout, as Rivas was defeated by Gonzalez by split decision in November 2013 with the WBC interim bantamweight title on the line. so Yasmin has a point to prove.

“Rusita” commented: “I am very happy indeed to be fighting in Gomez Palacio, which is my homeland. I hope to have great support from all people of Durango. I believe this is one of my finest preparations. I`m absolutely determined to be world champion again. This has not been a great year for me, but I`m going to triumph again. There`s no better life than a champion´s way!”
