Yesica “La Tuti” Bopp (33-1, 13 KOs) of Argentina successfully retained her WBA Light Flyweight Title for the 19th time on Friday, where she demolished Debora “Pantera” Rengifo (9-4-1, 5 KOs) of Venezuela.

The championship bout was promoted by O.F.R. Promotions S.R.L. and held at the Estadio polideportivo Club Chacarita Jrs. in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Bopp’s superior skills led to knockdowns in the opening round by a stifling 1-2 combination, and advancing jab in the 4th, and a finishing flurry in the neutral corner at the end of the 6th round looked to close it out.

Rengifo survived the 6th Round, but her corner saw the damage mounting in the 7th Round and stopped the bout at 1:20 as Bopp’s overhand right just kept pounding away at the challenger.
