Yessica Chavez Claims the WBC Diamond Flyweight Championship by Unanimous Decision Victory over Esmeralda Moreno

Yessica “Kika” Chavez goes down in history, by, defeating Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno, in the grande final of the WBC Diamond Tournament.

Their third and decider, was in Ecatepec. The battle began intensely. However, Kika demonstrated polished technique, that she has developed in recent years’ nurtured by skilled coach, Ignacio Beristain.

“Kika” won the battle, to take a very clear unanimous decision. The audience applauded the efforts of both warriors, knowing that they were in the presence of Mexico’s very best, , but also of the entire world.
