After numerous matchups attempts have fallen through, former WBC and IBF Champion of the World Ava Knight (14-2-4, 5 KOs) of Chico, California returns to active status.

Many of fans and fellow boxers have been awaiting her return to the sport, amplified with her signing with Mayweather Promotions, but have been met with disappointment until tonight.

Knight and Leesa Daniels (1-2) of Austin, Texas will compete for the vacant American Boxing Federation (ABF) Bantamweight Championship on Saturday evening at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

Tonight, both combatants successfully weighted in within the 118 pound maximum weight.

Knight vs. Daniels will be one of four championship bouts on the Lank Promotions “The Big Payback” show, something Memphis has been lacking for 10 years… Championship Boxing.
