In the main female attraction of DiBella Entertainment’s Brooklyn Boxing at Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Connecticut, world champion Alicia “The Empress” Napoleon-Espinosa (12-1, 7 KOs), of Lindenhurst, NY, successfully defended her WBA Super Middleweight title for the third time with the 4th Round TKO over previously unbeaten Schemelle “The Real Deal” Baldwin (3-1-1, 2 KOs).

Baldwin, primary sparring partner for former champion Kali Reis came out aggressive, looking to score the world championship upset in just her fifth professional fight.

A huge 3rd Round saw Napoleon-Espinoza trap the challenger in her corner and unleashed almost 60 seconds of head and body shots. Baldwin survived the barrage only to be trapped again in the 4th Round before the referee stopped the bout.

Official Time of the Stoppage: 1:30 of Round 4

Napoleon-Espinoza retains her WBA Super Middleweight Championship and looks to expand her gold.
