April 6: Maria Soledad Vargas Looks to Upset WBC Atomweight Champion Fabiana Bytyqi

Mexican national minimum weight champion, Soledad Vargas, is aiming to microwave the World Boxing Council atom division.

The fight will be on Saturday, April 6, in the Czech Republic, home of the World Champion Fabiana Bytyqi.

“I am very happy because I have been working hard for so many years to achieve this opportunity and I won`t waste it. I know I am going to the rival’s back yard and it is always complicated, but for that I am doing the best preparation of my career,” pledged Sol.

Sol Vargas is supported by the PROBOX company of Porfirio Morales, with whom she signed a representation contract.

“I am very happy to be able to work with Sol, along with my team working with former champion Agustín Zorrita Luna and Xochitl Rodríguez, as well as manager Omar Garnica, as we are a great team, I am sure she will become a WBC champion” Porfirio Morales said.
