Ava “The Lady of Boxing” Knight (15-2-4, 5 KOs) is back in action on Saturday at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas in a Flyweight division matchup. Knight’s opponent will be Mexico’s former IBF Champion Nancy “Chatita” Franco (17-13-2, 5 KOs) for a scheduled 6 Rounder.
Knight, a former WBC and IBF Champion of the World, has had a few years of disappointment after numerous matchups attempts fell following years of promotional contract issues. Now, Mayweather Promotions is putting her back on the right track.
Franco is looking to get back to winning ways after three straight defeats, including a challenge to Anabel Ortiz in July of 2017 for her WBA Minimimweight championship belt.

Knight – 111 lb
Franco – 112 lb
Many of fans and fellow boxers have been awaiting her return to the sport, amplified with her signing with Mayweather Promotions, but have been met with disappointment until tonight.
