Braekhus defeats Bustos

Undefeated and undisputed welterweight champion Cecilia Braekus from Norway, retained her belts, defeating Argentine challenger Victoria Bustos vía UD, at the Montecarlo Casino, in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

At 38 years of age, Braekhus showed great conditioning, dominating for victory on points, 99-91, 98-92 and 98-92.

This was Braekhus’s first fight after almost a year of inactivity.

With the result this Saturday, Braekhus improved her record to 36-0, with 9 knockouts, while Bustos` record is 19-6.
