VIDEO: CAMERON SHOVES BASHEEL AT WEIGH-IN

Chantelle Cameron and Anisha Basheel had to be pulled apart during an extremely heated weigh-in ahead of tomorrow’s huge #MTKFightNight at the Brentwood Centre.

Unbeaten Cameron (10-0, 7 KOs) faces Basheel (8-5, 8 KOs) in a final eliminator for the WBC world title live on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and also live on iFL TV, with the WBC Silver title also on the line.

There has been plenty of bad blood between the two in the build up, and tempers flared during the face-off as Cameron and Basheel had to be separated ahead of this weekend’s showdown.

Cameron looked in fantastic shape as she weighed in at 134.2 lbs (9 st, 8 lbs, 2 oz), while Basheel was slightly lighter at 133 lbs, (9 st, 7 lbs).

A massive card also sees Michael McKinson (16-0, 2 KOs) look to add another belt to his collection when he faces dangerous Russian Evgeny Pavko (18-2-1, 13 KOs) for the vacant WBO European welterweight title.

McKinson was lean and mean on the scales as he came in at 145.8 lbs (10 st, 5 lbs, 8 oz), with Pavko weighing 146 lbs (10 st, 6 lbs).

There is a fantastic Southern Area welterweight title fight as Shaquille Day (12-0, 2 KOs) goes up against Louis Adolphe (10-1, 1 KO). After Adolphe’s no-show at the press conference, the pair finally went head to head at the weigh-in.

Day was ripped and ready as he came in at 146.8 lbs (10 st, 6 lbs, 8 oz), with Adolphe weighing

World-ranked Thomas Patrick Ward (26-0, 4 KOs) returns to action in association with Salita Promotions, as he faces Brayan Mairena.

Ward weighed 126.8 lbs (9 st, 8 oz), and Mairena was slightly lighter as he weighed 125.6 lbs (8 st, 13 lbs, 6 oz).

The undercard also includes many rising stars, including Shaquille Day vs. Louis Adolphe, Harlem Eubank, Josh Adewale, Jamie Whelan, Jack Martin, Quaise Khademi and Frank Arnold.
