After five years away from competition, 48 year old Chevelle “Fists of Steel” Hallback (31-8-2, 13 KOs) of Florida insists that she has found the fountain of youth and is chasing world championship gold.

Saturday night at the Yuengling Center on USF campus in Tampa, Florida, Hallback stepped back in the ring for the second time in a the last 45 days to deal a near perfect effort and Unanimous Decision win over the durable Szilvia Szabados (18-16, 9 KOs) of Hungary.

Szabados always makes opponents work and is hard to stop, meaning Hallback is getting the best work for the championship level while shaking off ring rust.

Official Scores: 59-55, 59-55, 59-55

After the scores were read, Hallback answered the question of who she would like to face in a title shot. “Claressa Shields”

Hallback and ShIelds have already had Twitter exchanges where the current Middleweight champion called the future hall of famer a “bum” and a “hater”. That bum already fought the best of the best over the past 30 years, like International Boxing Hall of Fame 1st year Female Nominees Lucia Rijker, Laura Serrrano, Mary Jo Sanders, as well as Alicia Ashley, Layla McCarter, Holly Holm, and current Unified Welterweight champion Cecilia Brækhus.
