Debora Dionicius Dominates to Retain her IBF Title for 7th Time
Argentinian Super Flyweight Debora Dionicius (21-0, 5 KOs) retains her International Boxing Federation (IBF) crown with a Unanimous Decision victory over Brazilian Aline de Cassia Scaranella (9-3, 7 KOs) on Saturday evening at the Club Social y Cultural El Cruce, Malvinas Argentinas, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This was the seventh defense of the IBF title for Dionicius since her crowning in November of 2012.
The champ’s left jab, left cross and rights to the body created an unmatched dominating force.

1983Darlina Valdez vs. Holley McDaniel was the first Main Event on a card. They fought the longest pro bout by the men's rules at the time - 15 three-minute rounds and eight-ounce gloves. Beautiful McDaniel, a high school beauty contest winner and mother of a three-year-old, got her nose broken in the 11th round, but continued bravely to the finish (even though she lost the match).
