Erica Farias Retains her WBC Strap by Unanimous Decision over Yamila Reynoso

World Boxing Council Super lightweight champion Érica “Pantera” Farías, retained her crown by defeating Argentina’s Yamila Esther “Maquinita” Reynoso by unanimous decision, at the Athletic Club Union of the city of Goya, Corrientes, Argentina.

The fight was dominated by the champion from beginning to end, amply displaying her greater experience and silky skills. “Pantera” Farías improves her record to 26 wins and two losses, while Reynoso left the ring with a record of 10 wins, 3 losses and three draws.

For Erica, this was the fourth defense of the title she prized from the grip of “Locomotora” Oliveras and which has successfully defended against Klara Svensson, Victoria Bustos and Marisa Nuñez.
