The 2016 Rio Olympic Gold Medalist Estelle Mossely (2-0) of France is back in action on Saturday at familiar grounds – the Casino de Deauville, in Calvados, France.

In July, Mossely made her professional debut at the Casino de Deauville with a shutout decision win over Aleksandra Vujovic.

Now, she is back to take her next step towards earning another shot at Lightweight Champion Katie Taylor when she faces Poland’s Sylwia Maksym (2-5) in an 8-Round tussle.’

Mossely is one of few to have conquered Taylor, last at the 2016 World Amateur Championships in Astana Kazakhstan so ambitions are high.

In her last bout, Mossely dominated Karina Kopiska of Poland in early November.

Maksym is coming off of a decision lose to former WBO Super Featherweight Champion Ramona Kühne almost two months ago and will be competing for the fourth time in 2018.

Saturday’s show is presented by David Nicotra Challenge.
