Estrella “Chacala” Valverde successfully defended her female international super flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, as well as conquering the vacant FECOMBOX Championship, by defeating Gloria “Predator” Gallardo.

The stellar event of the card “Neza mi Barrio”, which took place at the Neza Arena, did not disappoint, as both Chacala and Predator brawled and mauled.

Valverde, who was not “At home on the range.” cut down the middle distance, for a toe to toe, hand to hand slugfest.

This tactic allowed her to come emerge with a hard fought split decision victory.
