In Tecamac, State of Mexico, Estrella “Chacala” Valverde, successfully her WBC super flyweight crown by defeating tough Leticia Uribe.
Despite the difference in height, the fight was competitive throughout 10 rounds. Leticia was was out worked by a very well conditioned “Chacala”.
With this victory, Estrella “Chacala” Valverde takes a crucially important step in her quest to challenge for for the world super flyweight crown, which is in the firm grasp of her compatriot Lupita Martinez.
