Eva Voraberger Becomes Interim WBC Bantamweight Champion with Split Decision Win Over Nina Radovanovic

VORABERGER CROWNED WBC INTERIM CHAMPION

Austrian fighter Eva Voraberger scored an important victory, defeating the Serbian Nina Radovanovic by split decision, in a hard fought battle at the Nova Arena, Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

The fight was very close from the outset , with both totally determined to take the victory. So it became a fascinating and intense battle of wills.
With this triumph, Eva was crowned World Boxing Council bantamweight Interim champion. Her next step is to take on formidable absolute champion, Mexican Mariana “Barby” Juarez.

Eva said : “I feel very happy to win this WBC title, and it was a very difficult triumph. I have to keep working in the gym to do it much better!”
The judges’ scores were 98-91, 95-94 and 94-95.
