Ewa Piatkowska poised to defend WBC crown
World Boxing Council female super welterweight champion Ewa Piatkowska (11-1-0, 4 Kos) will make the second defense of her crown against Switzerland’s Ornella Domini (13-1-0, 3 Ko’s) this Saturday at the Arena Gliwice, Poland.
Ewa comes from defending her crown over Swedish Maria Lindberg. While Ornella had defeated Mari Tatunashvili by unanimous decision. Both fighters have been European champions in the welterweight division, so an entertaining fight is expected.
