From WBC:

“Crews Control” as Franchon prepares to defend WBC belt

American Franchon Crews Dezurn (5-1-0, 2 KO’s), who`s the super middleweight champion of the World Boxing Council, will fight Mexican Alejandra “Tigre” Jiménez (12-0-1 9 KO’s), who`s the former WBC heavyweight champion, on Saturday, September 14 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Franchon is determined to impose her style facing the Mexican, boosted by a strenuous and extended workload preparation, as she wants to be world champion for a long time.

Crews Dezurn comes from knocking out her compatriot Kayla Williams on June 20 in Atlantic City, in a non-title match. She won the world title by defeating Maricela Cornejo by UD last year.
